Increase on Cost of Stamps
Can you believe that the price of stamps are going up again?? You gotta be kidding me!! I’ve read that on May 12, 2009, they will increase the cost by a penny. Therefore, the cost of stamps would be .43 cents/stamp. I will make sure and send the ‘Save The Dates’ cards before the price changes. AND, to just make it clear, I am not concerned about a single penny. BUT, its the principle of the matter. 🙂
Also, make sure you weigh your wedding invitations before you put a stamp on it. Two envelopes, an invitation, and an RSVP card may require more postage. 🙂
Chiavari Chairs
Never did I ever anticipate on loving specific chairs for weddings (in general). But, I absolutely love the style of the chairs illustrated in the pictures below. They are simple yet elegant at the same time.
Day of Coordinator??
Today I had a consultation with a videographer, whom I decided to book. 🙂 As we were chatting about weddings, the one thing he highly recommended to me is a ‘Day of Coordinator’. Basically, you can hire someone for just the ‘Day of’, ‘weekend’ or ‘month’ of your wedding. I didn’t even know that this existed.
At my church, they provide a ‘wedding coordinator’ before, during and after the ceremony and the reception we booked has a ‘Food and Beverage Director’ who is absolutely amazing. I don’t think I have anything to worry about since both places provide extreme help, but, if I didn’t have them, it would be a definite possibility.
